This Privacy Policy explains how Bike Shed Moto Co. (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your information when you use our website at bikeshedmotoclub.com and the BSMC Member app (together, the “Service”).

Bike Shed Moto Co. is the data controller for the information collected through the Service. We are based in the United Kingdom.

Information you give us:
- Account details: name, email address, password
- Profile details: profile photo, bio, and anything else you choose to add
- Content you post: photos, videos, messages, comments, forum posts, and group activity
- Membership and payment details (processed by Stripe, we do not store your full card number)
- Support messages when you contact us
Information we collect automatically:
- A user ID that identifies your account within the Service
- Basic analytics about how the Service is used (pages viewed, features used, session length)
- Cookies and similar technologies on the website (see section 6)
We do not ask for or store your date of birth.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account and membership
- Show your profile and activity to other members, based on your privacy settings
- Enable community features such as messaging, groups, forums, and events
- Send you service emails (password resets, receipts, important updates)
- Send you marketing emails and push notifications, where you have agreed

- Stripe for payment processing across our website and app

- A buyer or successor if we sell or merge the business. We will tell you first.

Your data is stored on servers in the UK, the EU, and the United States. Where we transfer data outside the UK or EU, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
